4x as many powerplays though - tough to win when the other team gets 4 pp's for each one you get - you should know that - the Avs live off their PP and the refs knew that too

Why do PP have to even out? If you commit more penalties then you get more pk against? It’s actually hilarious fans complain about “game management” then complains when the game is not managed.

Refs trying to keep PP even is the definition of game management.

What a surprise a team like Colorado that drives to the net with speed draws more penalties then a charmin soft Toronto team
