Oilers fans complain constantly about their goalies to the point that the players aren't even trying, yet every game I watch their entire defense and forwards play terrible in front of them.

If this were baseball, those sv% would make great win percentiles....but yea, hockey? Not so much for goalies....

Gustavsson was forced to make an unnecessary stop, then smother the puck to cover for him!

And a Hedman bomb makes the question about whether Hagel should have been awarded a penalty shot (I don’t think it should have been one though) a moot point.

I'd turn down the penalty shot and take the 2 minute advantage if i had the choice.........

I wouldn’t if I were a coach, just because of the numbers. Power plays vary but let’s round it to about 20% for a rough estimate on the average. Penalty shots, however, run about 35% or so.

Maybe I’d go for the power play if it was a crappy player who was awarded it, though.
