Again no credibility. You think buffalo should be given equal PP opps as the canucks? OR maybe that penalties have more factors?

I simply stated that the Canucks had a stretch of very few penalties recently. A comment was made that it was too small of a sample size. I provided the largest sample size possible.

Stop reading so much in my comments.

Yeah, the refs weren't doing the Pens any favours tonight but then I've never seen a team that pisses and moans to the officials more than the Pens did tonight.

And I'm a Canucks fan. I know whining.

Looked to me like the refs got sick of hearing about everything out there and just stopped giving them any breaks. Pens weren't doing themselves any favours with that attitude.

Nobody gives a F about this particular game. It was a third in four nights for the pens this was expected. The discussion is on the joke reffing where guys are blatant interfered with or have their sticks shattered with no call game after game.

It was an important game for the Canucks. Every game from here on in is. Maybe it wasn't for the Pens. It certainly seemed like the on the ice.

It's a vicious cycle for Pittsburgh. Complaining. Refs become more stubborn. More frustration. Refs become even more stubborn. It's been going on for 30-40 games now, I think. The Canucks got away with several legit penalties due to that attitude.

Difference is the refs job is to ref a clean and fair game, the pens can complain however much they want. Every team does it when they get garbage calls like the ones on letang tonight. The **** do you want him to do? Play handicapped?

As a Canucks fan I know how long it takes refs to move on after they get fed up with a team/player and stop giving them the benefit of the doubt.

The Refs definately weren't in a giving mood for the Pens tonight but they weren't doing themselves any favours.

Oh, you don't need to explain this process to us. We're painfully aware of this phenomenon, trust me. Once the refs decide to stop listening to you, it can be years before they start giving you the benefit of the doubt. We're still waiting. Against the other 28 NHL teams, we're the ones on the other end of that. The Sedins get mauled game after game, nothing. Burrows can be wearing an opposing forward like a backpack, not a peep. Amazed there's a team they hate more than us.
