refs really screwing the Penguins tonight, One of the worst officiated games I have seen. 2 goals minimum scored on plays where Pitsburgh should have drew penalties and some phantom calls. Pens getting slashed and tackled and the refs put the whistles int he pocket lol. Probably annoyed of Pens players chirping them all game.

I am actually surprised as well watching the game, there have been some pretty blatant calls that could have been made against Van but they just ignored them.

It seems really blatant that the refs are ignoring them, whether or not Pens players were whining. I think any player would after some of those ignored calls.

Honestly this is the kind of game where the coach needs to call out these ****** refs and take the heat off his team. I have watched ONE period and seen three BLANTANT missed calls a monkey could have made go the other way.

Vancouver deserves to win, but the refs need to get over themselves and call the game fairly.

As a Canuck fan, trust me when I say that while I sympathise with a couple of the calls made/not-made, I've seen worse.

You haven't seen the quantity the pens have. Most penguin games have been reffed this badly against them for months. This isn't a one time thing for us.

I still think the Nucks would have won regardless. They were still the better team. I just haven't seen so many blatant calls not blown down, especially when about 3 lead to goas afterwards. It all evens out anyways I guess,

I don't watch the Pens that often, but for the Canucks, it's a toss-up between refereeing styles. So much inconsistency in the calls where we either get lots of calls or none at all.

You haven't seen the quantity the pens have. Most penguin games have been reffed this badly against them for months. This isn't a one time thing for us.

In early Janurary we had a stretch of 4 games where we had 2 or 3 penalties called our way. 2 of those without a single PP.

Just refuting the notion that the Pens recently have had as few PP's as the Canucks did in a bad stretch. Average of 3 vs. average of 0.5. Nothing more, nothing less.

Again no credibility. You think buffalo should be given equal PP opps as the canucks? OR maybe that penalties have more factors?

Canucks are 13th in minor penalties, Penguins are 2nd.

A team like the Penguins shouldn't be 16th in PP and the 2nd most penalized team in the league

Nobody gives a F about this particular game. It was a third in four nights for the pens this was expected. The discussion is on the joke reffing where guys are blatant interfered with or have their sticks shattered with no call game after game.
