Refs did EVERYTHING they could to screw the Leafs tonight including multiple 5 on 3's handed to Calgary but it didn't work.

Wasnt one or both of the one of the 5 v 3’s the result of high sticking? Why not blame the players for taking bad penalties instead of acting like the refs screwed you over

Both penalties were legit - a puck over the glass and a high stick. Calgary deserved to have a 2 man advantage and they scored both times.

Might hurt them in the short term but I tend to give GM’s the benefit of the doubt when they decide to move on from guys who are about to get a massive payday around age 30. Easiest thing in the world is to re-sign a fan favorite player who has put up a ton of points.

I respect the long game, and GM’s who aren’t afraid to make unpopular decisions
