Meh...Colorado has been a 'one line team' MANY times over the last several years. It's why they haven't done much besides that one Cup run they had some time back.

That season, they actually got secondary scoring and Darcy Kuemper played out of his mind.
But the running formula, which still seems to be valid apparently, is "shut down #29 and his linemates and dare the rest of the lines to beat you".

Your not wrong but I do feel like its gotten worse. Mittelstadt played much better when they first acquired him. Not having Nuke hurts awell. And I think as good as Necas has been, losing Rantanen makes that top group less dangerous. He just had a way of getting in an area or burying a sharp angle one when they had teams on the ropes.

The Oilers are equally as bad with the empty net
Kind of surprising. What’s their issue? Bad shot selection?

I noticed a while ago that draisaitl’s EN point totals over the last few years were the exact inverse of ovechkin: something like 3g, 18a to ovi’s 18g, 3a.

I think there is a significant difference between game management and favouritism
Is this a parody account?

The 5 on 3’s you’re calling unfair were caused by 2 high sticks and a puck over glass. Maybe don’t take terrible penalties when you’re already man down?
