Great game, great pace. Refs...god help them...just can't keep up.

I don't even know who the best refs in the NHL are any more because it just seems like when the games turn high-intensity high-speed they call a bunch of random crap then put the whistles away. I feel for them in a way and I know I keep repeating it but 'they just can't keep up' is all I can think.

This game was not decided by the refs, it was just two very evenly matched teams playing another great game.

Hawks are ALWAYS his kryptonite. I can count the number of truly 'Quick' games he's had vs. them on one hand.

Yes and no. If both the too many men and Doughty's interference in the third were called on the Kings, out come could've been different.

But it was a fun game officiating aside.

The refs don't get the luxury of a top view and slow motion replays. If anyone is going to complain about reffing, it's pointless unless you post a picture showing where the refs are looking when things are happening.

Just pointing out as a neutral fan that yes, officiating, whether it swung one way or the other depending which fan base you talk to, did have an impact on the out come. Someone blatantly saying it had no bearing whatsoever is talking out of their ass.
