Apologies for intruding, just wanted to congratulate the Bears.

This finals series was amazing to watch. I’m obviously a Penguins fan primarily, but I moved to Seattle and have been a big fan of the Kraken and Firebirds since. The finals were so enjoyably to watch, the Caps have some really nice young guys coming up from what I saw in this series.

Enjoy it because I wanted a team in Seattle most of my life.

It sounds like Hershey is going to be a completely different team next season with a lot of the young kids getting a call up and the vets being free agents
Bears actually will have some sick goaltending next season with Clay Stevenson and Mitchell Gibson. One of the 2 could be the Caps future #1 goalie.

I know this not NHL level, but winning the Calder Cup in Game 7 OT was amazing to see. The last goal scored in the playoffs wins the Calder Cup!

An OT winner in 70 years too.

Holy hell how did that happen!?

What a jekyll/hyde game, figured after the 2-0 goal to start the 2nd that it was going to unravel but somehow they managed to square it up while being dominated thru the 1st 40, they were panicky and forgot all fundamentals for big chunks of those 2 pds

Wow did they ever flip the switch for 3rd and OT, very impressed how they pulled it together and started imposing their will, CV didn't get a sniff almost the whole 3rd

Yeah as soon as it was tied all the sudden the Bears were swarming and weaving and making way better touches, looked like a totally different team

Bring on Nelson as assistant coach with all these kids.
He could be a strong fit to replace McCarthy as assistant in charge of the defense. At the same time Nelson might be better off coaching the Bears, as he's a good fit developing future Caps drafted players and trying to win Championships with Hershey.

CMM really turned Game 7 around with that PP goal to make it 2-1, and then HL getting a dirty goal by going to the net on shot from the point. These 2 could be the Caps future 3rd and 2nd line centers. CMM could be a Caps regular next season and HL in 2 more years.
