Frank is finally showing up when they need him the most. Glorious shot on that goal.
Was he dinged up for the start of the playoffs? Seems like being out of the lineup helped him return to form.Frank is finally showing up when they need him the most. Glorious shot on that goal.
P.S. shoutout to all the dads out there. Babies are a lot of work lol
Saw LuJo got the 3rd star so good to know the reason.DA FOOKIN BEARS!
What an absolute team effort. LuJo played like a stud all night long. He must have easily blocked 10+ shots.
It’s a must win on Saturday before going back to Cali.
P.S. shoutout to all the dads out there. Babies are a lot of work lol
Don’t worry, things only get harder from here!
I don't think it really says a ton about our prospect pool. Hershey is a very vet heavy team. I think it solidifies what we already knew about a lot of the prospects... nothing earth shattering has changed for me as a bears fan or capitals fan in terms of the development side or future outlook. Good chance at being a NHL impact player go to McMichael, Lappy, Malenstyn, Iorio, Protas. Possible chance given the right situation for Frank and Snivley. Slim to none for me is Pilon, LuJo and Sutter. Everyone else is a vet and not changing their career trajectory.Does the Bears performance in the playoffs this year warrant a re-valuation by the hockey cognoscenti of the Caps prospect pool. The consensus view over the last couple of years is that our cupboard sucks. Do we get to call that wrong now - or does this run get dismissed as being driven chiefly by a combo of quasi-NHLers (Protas, McMike, Snively) and AHL lifers (Vecchione, Morelli, Pilon, McIlraith, Day)?
I think it confirms that our pool - including the quasi-NHLers - has been under-appreciated, but there are many others here who are far more knowledgeable about prospect development and the meaning of AHL success than me.
