Prokhorkin is just a body out there. He doesn't have any attributes to separate him from the pack. There are too many other players fighting for the same spot that bring something noticable to distinguish their value.

He might tear up the AHL if he stays, but that would require a big commitment on his part
I’m revising my previous statement. He’ll be back in the KHL by Halloween.

Fantastic PK. Good positioning, smart moves with the puck and a lot of tenacity. The team looks much less timid so far this period.

Ducks aren't even doing all too well, Kings are just making unforced turnovers and losing 50/50 pucks. They're not really trying.

Agreed.

Just started watching. Anyone else look particularly good or bad?

Well, lemme give you context Ducks starting line up vs B team.

Oh they’re trying. The problem is this what happens when you throw a bunch of inexperienced players in against an NHL roster. Even one as pitiful as the Ducks.

It really doesn't seem like it to me I guess.

Kempe is looking more and more like his ceiling is Trevor Lewis. Not the end of the world but disappointing.

Kempe already has 2 seasons with more points than Lewis' career high and he has only played 3 total(and his rookie season where he didn't top it he only played 25 games).

You're just looking at points. Lewis was great defensively most of his career. How much longer do you think the Kings will think of Kempe as a top 2 center?

So, Lewis would be a bad comparison for Kempe. Outside of speed they are completely different players.

My point was the Kings will likely give up on Kempe as an offense player and realize he should concentrate on shutting down the other team with his speed and a touch of nastiness.
