Kings can't generate any offense at Staples and getting hemmed in their own zone too often. Veterans looking like they haven't played a game in months

Kings 2nd period:
Give up goal on 1st shot again
Kings offsides up the wazoo
Only 4 shots on goal
On penalty kill most of period

Sounds about right...

The good news is young players like Kempe, Amadio, Lizotte and Grundstrom that NEED to take the next step, are sounding like that they are playing well. Their time is coming now and ones like Carter, Lewis, Toffoli (yes, Toffoli) their time is past and their jobs are being gunned for. Too hard to really know, without seeing the games. And rookies like Fagemo, Thomas, Anderson, sound like they are playing well.

It's only pre-season so it's hard to put much stock in this game, but hopefully it's a sign of things to come on the whole season.

Still need to draft the next franchise player to complete what has been a very impressive rebuild by Blake. Please don't ruin it by hanging around the 2nd WC spot at the deadline.

I do miss the days where players would fight and push back and show that they cared a little bit in preseason. I feel bad for the fans who spent money to go to this game, because it just sounds like a warm up skate on the radio.

I remember back in the days when Pre-season was actually some of the best games. Fights, emotions etc, etc.

The last game played at the Great Western Forum, a preseason against the Ducks, was one of the best games I've attended live.

Got free tickets to a Ducks - Kings game at the old Arrowhead Pond a while back and man what a game. Great game with goals and tons of fights and not just on the ice but right behind where we were sitting. About 5 or six kings Fans going at it with some drunk Ducks fan. Okay they were all drunk but holy smokes it was one of the best games ever. My nephew was about 12 at the time and he never looked back. Got him into hockey and now can't live without it. LOL. Good times good times.

Listened to the whole road game. Amadio, Grundstrom, Lizotte, Thomas, Fagemo, Anderson, Villalta and Campbell with very good games. D played very well all around. MacDermid blocked quite a few shots.
