Well, thank goodness you are back, with your endless cheerfulness! Now watch me bring you down to earth with a single word:Wouldn't the sad sacks have more to post about after an awful game?
I think the game was so unequivocally bad that there's not really any debate to fire up the back and forth posts.
Plus it was a late game and I haven't even had a chance to watch it - and what a moribund place this board is without me chiming in!

Truth is, unequivocally bad games used to attract more critical posts, but many "sad sacks" have likely reduced their posting or walked away precisely because of the name-calling and other inhospitable responses.
In the end, it really is unclear how good a team this is because of their behaviour in recent seasons, so no amount of posturing on either side really proves anything. I'm a skeptic, not by nature but by experience, but it is hard to argue with Vezina goaltending, an (almost) Norris level D, an outperforming number one line and solid coaching. Now they just have to play to their potential in a series of short sample size playoff matches, where anything can happen.
