Why would a team give up a 4th for a failed prospect like Morin?

I'd be very surprised if somebody wouldn't have thrown a fourth or fifth round pick out for Morin. And he and his NHL career aren't finished yet.

I don't think Erixon is a bad defenseman. It just made no sense bringing in a carbon copy of a guy that Q wasn't playing despite him outplaying other options on the roster.
