Well another uninspiring game. The issue with the Jets offense is that they are not making the other goalies move. Too much perimeter shots and one on one shots with the goalie already being set. Also way too much disorganization and poor puck movement.

Helle was ok tonight.

Morrissey with yet another strong game, Kulikov was solid as well.

Pionk was just ok, Sbisa was Sbisa.

Bietto was awful yet again. Niku was hit and miss.

I though Laine played quite well. Wheeler/Scheifele/Ehlers were mediocre. Copp just kills plays in the top 6. Borque is useless.

I wonder how many years are left on their contracts? Zero for Mau.

Their previous contracts expired at the same time and their most recent extensions were announced together. They were very coy about the lengths at the time only saying that Maurice's was "medium" term and Chevy's was "longer," so 3-5 year extension after 17-18 probably.
Maurice's "medium" term extension we've since learned was 2 seasons.

Yup, all we need is a new coach. This has to be the most overrated lineup in the league.

Do we know if the jets are the only team to hide the contracts of coaches and gms? And if so why they do so ?

So PoMo is probably here until July of 21 and Chevy until July of 23. No sense wasting money by firing them.

With all due respect, I believe this is just a lull in the season for the boys. My primary team had its arse handed to it not so long ago via Tampa & the Panthers.

FWIW, I’m composing a comeback/nasty lash out parody song. The Jets will overcome. I believe this.

I really hope so. You will find me among the most optimistic people. Bring it (the song)!!

Chevy was the GM to build up the org, need a new aggressive guy to make some bold moves that push us over the edge. Same with Maurice but his time is just up. Needs a fresh, inspired voice to coach the team to the cup.
