You need to find a place FOR that engine and then You get another car with a BETTER engine. That was a trick question, right?A rebuild will take a loooong time without those two. Zucc is basically the engine on this team, when he plays well the rest will follow him. What happens to a car when you remove it's engine?![]()
This is the main takeaway. You need to find a place FOR that engine and then You get another car with a BETTER engine. That was a trick question, right?
All kidding aside (notice my avatar) this team after Zuccha will never look the same.......I will be very unhappy about him being gone, as I would have never imagined that......but unfortunately, every player has their day......one way or another.
You’re right. I definitely think his high plus-minus is at least somewhat due to his relatively high PDO. Some of it is good defensive play, and some of it is good luck. But my main point was that he gets unlucky when it comes to getting points, but hopefully it will even out.Of course. It could really have nothing to do with offense at all. They could be shooting at their standard rate with him out there, but the goalies are stopping shots at a higher than average rate. I don't know which it is. I'm sure you could look at things like HDC for and against %, or something like that, and paint a more clear picture. But that's not really my point. If it has anything to do with offense at all it will even itself out--either through more or less points through the course of the season. We don't know yet.
But my real point isn't even really based on PDO or anything--just the general flow of the season. Anyone that has spent significant time with Jimmy Vesey should probably have at least a few more assists, because that dude gets setup at the doorstep nonstop and always seems to fail to convert. Hayes, for as good as he has been, has also setup a number of glorious chances that haven't been converted. Neal Pionk is the opposite--he probably benefited from picking up some point that he didn't really "earn." It's just how it goes. Yeah it's frustrating if your guy doesn't get that point, but it happens to everyone. And right now, it's tough to portray DeAngelo as unlucky when the only thing that I know of that we use to try to measure luck indicates he has been on the lucky side overall (maybe not in points, but in general--maybe his +/- has been buoyed? Someone was talking that up last night).
I just wouldn't get too upset about it. If he keeps playing well he'll pick u his fair share and probably nab some secondary assists that he had nothing to do with. I'm not telling you to not be upset, just my perspective on things.![]()

I'm fully in "heat now" modeSo you push your HVAC harder than it should be pushed and expect it to do more than it should because you don’t have the time and patience to increase insulation and slowly rebuild the system?

What's bad about being in constant heat?Might want to see a vet.

I imagine that you'll piss all over your house and rub the upholstery off the furniture.
But I'm not an expert in such matters. I'm just a dog.
