Boo has oodles of confidences driving with the puck on his stick, but as soon as he has to pass or shoot he gets the yips. Even his two nice assists on Kreider and Chytil's goals was basically him plowing through two guys and having somebody else sweep up the leftovers.

Definitely looked like it. If he ever gets the mentality to drive hard to the net like Kreider used to before he learned to shoot lasers, then he'll be a handful for defenders everytime he gets a couple steps to skate.

The guy i wish we wouldn't have traded......and I LOVED Duby. Always felt like he would be a very good contributor......and was always good defensively, and FO's. He was, what Namestnikov wants to be for us. At least in my eyes.

If McLeod's shifts were normally like that, I would never complain about his lack of hockey skills.

Shifts like that have legitimate impact on games, even if we can't measure it. Unfortunately, that's more of a once every couple games kind of shift; not every time his skates touch ice.
