Byram on a really similar trajectory to Shea Theodore and ahead of a guy like Josh Morrissey who is also close stylistically. That is fairly encouraging
Byram won't need MMA classes...

When have we had a D as offensively talented as Byram? My mind goes to the Erik Gustafson Random Season and before that I can't really think of anyone. Certainly no one in the dynasty era.
52, 38, 27 points. era adjusted he's close but not quite. Thought about him thoSoupy was pretty damn offensively talented.

I do enjoy Sabres fans findin the clip of Crevier's one fight where he got worked and saying they are adding toughness to the lineup. Love me some Crevier, found money, but he's probably the softest player at that size in league history. Good player good stick not hating just reality.
interesting career comparison, shea was buried behind hampus lindholm and cam fowler before vegas gave him a real opportunity to be a 1Byram on a really similar trajectory to Shea Theodore and ahead of a guy like Josh Morrissey who is also close stylistically. That is fairly encouraging
Which is why I believe the Hawks sold high on Crevier.

just wait til blackhawks returns from exile in xitter to relate his opinion on the matterBWC tonight with anti Byram posts one after another![]()

What does that cause or entail? Because all you get is. I've said what I will about that or no comment... the idea a sports journalist can get someone to say, actually, since you keep asking, I'll say this instead... doesn't exist. For 20 years of message boards I've seen this complaint from every fanbase as if some result will happen. You’re assuming anyone has the balls to question him and not let him off the hook if he gives a non answer.
Dude is in full on crash out mode and I am loving it.generational run for BWC
Logan Stanley, an objectively better player than Crevier played 14 minutes a night. Crevier got to play 17+ a night for Hawks.Must say its fascinating all the "Byram will be better" stuff ignoring the very clear upward trajectory of a still young Louis Crevier
Given recent history of Hawks mismanagement of young defenders wont be shocking to see him have big career post Chicago like others
For real, 4OA should have been more than enough, not sure anyone can debate that.
Bucci said SJ offered 9+27+..Stenberg and Byram would've been solid for themIn theory, yes. But we don't know who else was talking with Buffalo about Byram. A player's stock, especially this off-season, can rise quite quickly. It made sense that Buffalo would want a dman back. The 2nd round pick seemed unnecessary, but the chances of that turning into anything for the Hawks was close to zero.
Eric Tulsky on line oneSteep price but I see why KD is making this gamble.
Either get your young NHL D-man now or wait for the #4 pick to mature into one in 3-4 years.
Hopefully it works out well.
I expect him to package the remaining 2nds to jump back into the later 1st round.
