Has Connor Bedard quietly became underrated ?

Do you realistically think he's going to hit around 120 points like MacKinnon? If so, what has he done at this level to suggest that? Asking out of curiosity.
Well, he led his team by 7pts last year, while playing 7 less games than the next highest player, while being an 18yo.

Maybe he doesn't ever hit 120pts in a season. But he's done plenty to make people think he can hit that.

That's not really that impressive, lots of rookies have led their team in scoring. Even Tavares did and never hit 90 points. Isn't it expected to lead a bad team in scoring if you're supposed to be the best player in a draft class? Crosby, for reference, led his team in scoring by 44 points as an 18 year old and only hit 120 points once in his career.

Nothing is showing that Bedard is trending towards that direction, its all wishful thinking.

Holy shmocks.... these guys are saying they're ready to give Bedard 15 mils per year for 8 years....

The delusion is strong

Why on earth would anyone think that's reasonable? Yeah, the blackhawks are bad, but Bedard as a 70 point player wouldn't magically be a 120 point player on a better team, which is what he'd need to be in order to be worth anywhere near 15M.

As you have repeated multiple times in this very thread, scoring is up. A 19yo Crosby in this league would hit those totals multiple times over. Hell, Tavares would stand a chance at hitting it.

Weird how you bring up scoring rate increases when you wanna talk shit about Bedard, but then you don't acknowledge it now.
