Pack win 5-3. Jones got crunched pretty good by Logan Brown near the end of the game, but skated off under his own power. Schneider went after Brown and both got roughing penalties.

3rd star: Brodz
2nd star: Paju
1st star: Jones

Hartford's a top 5 team in the AHL and Utica and Springfield are the only teams in conference that are on part with the Pack.

Jones' skating reminds me more of Q. Hughes, than Fox. I gotta see more of his defensive decision making in the NHL before I can call him Fox lite though.

it was limited but that's what caught me off guard watching him last season. I was waiting for the mistakes but they never really came

Yeah, I love Jones, but he isn’t that “general” on the ice. I think guys like T Krug/Sam Girardi are better comparisons.

Jones is the real deal it seems. Very happy with his progress. For anyone who watched how we’re Barron and Paju? I saw Paju got the 2nd star. How were their overall games?

Jones is going to be a very good player in this league, whether it’s here or somewhere else.
All logic would dictate he stays and Nils goes. Their value is probably the same. Having a foxy type on the left side is nice,

Lindgren Fox
KAM Trouba
Jones Schneider

is the future. However you want to pair them.

+/- is what it is but couldn't help noticing Schneider is well ahead of everyone else at +12
on the other side, you have poor Justin Richards with an epic -8 (next closest is Bitetto with -3) and 1g 1a in 16 gp lol, yikes

Agreed. I really expected Jones to look atrocious last year but that never really happened. He had no panic in his game and, given the situation he was in, he had every right to have panic in his game lol.

If shit goes right, roll with Lundkvist, Fox and Jones. Play in the other teams end and you don't have to worry about size on D (especially if you've got some KAM, Schneider, Robertson and maybe Trouba as well).

1-0 Hartford over Springfield after 1. Anthony Greco makes excellent rush on the PP and finds Ty Ronning alone in the slot who puts it home. Bitetto injured again so Skinner back in. Whelan and Reuschfoff replace Richards and and Whelan. Kodorenko moves up to left wing with Barron.

Solid first period for Pack not giving up many chances and Huska looking very good when they did.

why the f*** does the AHL think it's OK to play a replay during 'live play'? Showing me a replay instead of the live action.

most asinine thing I've seen

Pack give up 3 unanswered goals to be down 3-1 after 2. First goal was from a scramble in front of the net. But I think the next two Huska will want back. Both were on shots from the wing that beat him. Pack had a couple of chances but Brodzinski and Greco were stopped by Springfield goalie Charlie Lindgren who has looked very good. Pack not as sharp as the team was in the first period.

Weak play by Schneider on a dump in led to the other team gaining possession and a Goal Against.

Zac Jones with another goal. He really does look like Fox when carrying/handling the puck. All those hip fakes/dance moves

I don't know what else he has to do. Looked solid defensively, finally got things going on offense in the 3rd
