Tell me there is no 6'5" 240 lbs killer in the ECHL that can just skate normal with an average hockey IQ for the 4th line at wing... #scouting
Apparently Pack signing PC Labrie, son in law of Patrick Roy

Wow. That’s the best they could find as an enforcer? I thought he was playing in the California Penal League.

Dig up Gazdic or Peluso, they’re both 3 years younger.

Cant they find some 25 year old AHL vet with grit that is available not some scrub that won’t see the light of day and close to the end of his career.

Not sure I'm ready for my first Pack game in 20+ years without the Hawk calling it... when he came on air, basically life around me stopped for 2-3 hours to watch the Pack and listen to him...

My first thought... when the sh!t hits the fan, which still happens in the AHL... that is who the Pack will send out? Fail.
I checked out the Bridgeport, Lehigh, Providence and Springfield rosters... they all got their big boys who could take care of business.

Some number updates for Hartford:

Richards to 19
Barron to 27
Pajuniemi is his familiar 48
Jones is 6
Robertson is 24
Schneider is 49

That's per the numbers on the AHL website which were updated this afternoon after the final Hartford roster was released.

it wasn't like Mason Geertsen played every single game and put up 30 goals and 50 assists. He has a job to do and if he chips in 5-10 goals, bonus.

Psyched for the game tonight! Agreed on Geersten and based off stats alone Labrie might be a better player for what that's worth. He should protect our young guys and with Bitetto willing to back teammates the pack should be alright.

Labrie past 2 years.

The Wolfpack official insta account posted a pic of the jerseys hanging in the locker room... one had a C on it and I was able to make out two A's ... curious to see who was selected. Unless they took an old stock photograph lol

Jonny Brodzinski is your 21-22 #HWP captain. Tim Gettinger & Anthony Bietto have the A’s.

That was the MOST LAME ASSED OPENING NIGHT INTRO... EVER. That was so bad, my local beer league team with 15 spectators a night did a better job. Holy moly HFD in-game presentation team... that was terrible.

Also, Bridgeport goalie Jakub Skarek sucks. I was okay with picking a goalie in 2018 and he was the one I would have taken. Still would have rather taken him in the third than Lindbom in the second. Whatever.

Any reason Reunanen isn't playing
Haven't heard anything. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he is traded shortly or, more likely, agrees to a mutual buyout and returns to Finland. He has no real path to the NHL and could make a better living overseas, whether in Liiga or the KHL or SHL.
