Prospect Info: Hartford Wolf Pack/Bloomington Bison Thread: Part XV

But here's the problem with that play. It starts because Rempe takes an undisciplined boarding penalty, the type of penalty he needs to stop taking if he wants the coaches to trust him and be in more than 5 minutes a game.
Yeah, I wasn't opining on this.

Hartford struggled big time on the PP after Othmann got hurt, and losing Berard to the Rangers didn't help.

But lately, they've picked it up, scoring 6 goals in their last 4 games (17 opportunities). The forward group that has scored all 6 of those goals is:

Belzile
Groulx
Chmelar
Leschshyshyn

The defenseman has rotated, with Mancini getting 3 in one game, Ruhwedel 1 in another game, and Robertson getting 2 yesterday.

Ironically, Chmelar hasn't gotten a point on any of the 6 goals. I assume he's parked in front of the net screening the goalie, which is valuable even if he doesn't get points.

He is. He plays net front on PP1 and is generally ok there.

Garand looked great. Ben Harpur with the en.
4-2 Wolf Pack win.
Last 8 minutes should be a teaching moment for Hartford. Can’t expect their opponents to stop playing just because you’ve controlled large amounts of the first two periods.

When Chmelar said his own name in an interview, he said it like "Huh-mel-ash." I don't know where this "Ham-el-osh" is coming from unless it was established that's how English-speaking announcers should be pronouncing it. Like Alex Thomas is inserting a very pronounced English vowel sound between the CH and the M that I don't hear when Czech speakers say it.
