Not a great fight really. Felix in really tight made it hard for Rempe land anything serious. Quite often players step in for a teammate but they really don't want the fight at all and in this case Felix was way out of his weight class. Rempe's game is predicated on hitting and here this fight comes his way because of that.

Chmelar had a big night but Roobroeck had an even bigger one. The game winning goal, assisted on Chmelar's goal and he led the team with 6 shots on goal. Roobroeck's having a really good rookie pro year too. 5 goals and 5 assists. He's not as good a skater as Chmelar but he gets to net front a lot. A lot of his shots this year are from 15' out to right around the goal crease. He uses his size well and goes to where goals are scored.

Chlemar and Rooberek are exactly the textbook type of prospects that help keep a window open/depth if they can continue to improve.

Pack getting lit up tonight 3-0 after 1 with two PPGs against. Their special teams are absolutely horrible. Bottom 5 in both in the league.

only things worth mentioning were Chmelar took a rough, and Roob and Rempe were both stoned right in front.

Chmelar got hit from behind and then retaliated with two heavy crosschecks. Bad penalty. probably about to be 5-2.

I don't have stats handy but he takes a lot of these very aggressive penalties. Maybe not a lot but they're basically all of his penalties. Multiple roughings and crosschecks. he has a bit of a temper.

Chmelar is a rugged player.

For the last 5 minutes of this period Hartford should play without the puck. Just dump it in a crash and bang.
Everyone needs to finish their checks.
