He looks to have a nice shot. Any chance we got a Callahan level player?
He has all the tools, determination and heart to succeed as a pro.
He’s buil right for a 5’10” forward.
I believe he is more skillful than Callahan.
What needs to be seen is his physicality against heavy NHL teams.
I’m in no rush to have him play on the Rangers this season (downside vs. upside)
If the Rangers find themselves in need this season and into the playoffs I would go safe and go Edstrom, Rempe, Belize and Blidh before Berard.
Hopefully he wins a spot out of camp next season.

How does he have 0 pim in 49 games? Has anyone got 0 pim in a full season in any league?View attachment 832844
So early to define this player. Maybe Sykora has an upside of a Jan Erixon defensively.
Offensively he might reach Jesper Fast level.
On the downside he could turn out to be Paul Broten.
Needs at least another full year IMHO.

Wylie’s is a pain in the ass with his effort level but he is so well trained with body position and stick positioning that he don’t take penalties. He uses his legs and body to get in position.

Korczak's goal was a thing of beauty for a center. Cover a passing lane on a backcheck, intercept the pass, move it down and dash to the net for a tip in.

His development is important with the lack of C options in the pool. Laba and BMB get more talk, but Korczak has promise too.

First full WHL season was 15 in 50. He's got 17 in 50 for his first full AHL season at 21. His brother got a good run on Vegas this season, took him a few AHL seasons to get there. Might see a similar thing with Ryder.

There’s a lot to like about this play from Korczak. He clearly is getting more comfortable in the AHL compared to the start of the season. Good to see especially in the context of him needing to step up after Hartford lost their centers axis strength via callups and injuries. Remember that Korczak is on a smaller side so being able to adjust to play in bigger and more physical style of the AHL was important.

Pack going to overtime after having to kill two late penalties. Edstrom leading the pk unit doing a great job.
Garand doing pretty good job as well in back to back starts on consecutive nights.

Good for Domingue. With another year of development for Garand, they'll be going into the season with 4 pro goalies capable of playing an NHL game. We've seen how important goaltending depth can be with how variable the position is
