Is Lacouvee up in the AHL? Nell is pretty brutal, even at the ECHL level... too bad for Maine, rooted for them to make the playoffs. Nell shouldn't be qualified by the NYR, any lowly-ranked UFA is still better than him.
 
No thanks on McCrea. He's a big right-handed body with a decent shot, but I don't think he's at best anything more than AHL depth. Not a great skater, he's not a great distributor of the puck and his defense is not good enough to make up for it. Got passed on the depth chart by Matt Nuttle who i'd be more interested in. Don't think either would make the NHL though.

I think (ability wise) he’s probably right on the line of being ready to turn pro or not, I haven’t seen anything even mentioning him turning pro or staying from any real people in any sort of know. If it was up to me, I’d have him go back another year

Kreiderman, My Mother was born in Dresden, Germany. She defected to The West in 1961 - just a week before the Berlin Wall came up. (Born in Stockholm 1963). I hence learned German as a child growing up in NYC 1964-1969. Chicago 1969 - 1979...

I don't get it, he hasn't been bad given the role he's played. Seems like the coach isn't a fan for whatever reason.

I would think the blooper reel would start with the five straight regulation losses that dropped them from the postseason to elimination.
