It's -24C this morning - beautiful, clear sky last night. I love seeing the stars and the half moon (last quarter) is gorgeous.

we started the day with sub zero temps, and maxed out around 6, but seeing my boys on the lift together made everything worth it. I could’ve sat on that lift all day watching and listening to them. My daughter also tried snowboarding, and loved her adaptive lesson. She had four instructors with her for two hours and then they released her to us with rental gear and a lift ticket. Spastic Hemiplegia didn’t exist for her. She was just a 12 year old girl snowboarding for the first time.

Awesome!!

What mountain are you at?

Nice, only critique i have is the packaged shredded cheese. If you buy a block or two (or however many cheese you want) and shred it yourself it melts better and doesn't contain the added anti-caking ingredient/agent.
I was just looking at small cheese graters over the weekend to start doing this for my salads. I have a food processor but I'm not sure I really want to take it out for a small batch. I watch homesteading videos on Youtube and many of the creators buy the massive blocks of cheese to grate and freeze their own and some even make their own blends.

Working with a nutritionist has been an eye opener and I'm starting to find that spending the extra money at Sprouts for my fruits/veggies and deli meat and cheese is worth it at least until the farmers markets start up again.

I went skiing exactly once, back in high school. As someone with no fondness for heights, the ski lift was not something I enjoyed, and especially when I saw the people in the chair in front of me look like they fell off the face of the earth when they got off at the top of the hill lol.

Roller skating was about as adventurous as I like to be lol

I have wanted a medieval tapestry since 2008. I love English castles and all the tapestries fascinate me. I wanted good quality and just couldn't find anything. I follow Stonehenge on FB and in December they had a link to their on-line store, and the ugly Christmas sweater made me click on the link. I discovered they sell replica tapestries but do not ship international. I took the info and googled and found a place in Canada that sells the same tapestry!!! So, yesterday I ordered my late Christmas present! It will arrive next week and the owners of the shop are an absolute delight!

If I am happy with the quality, I am getting Starry Night for my birthday, for our bedroom. I think over the years, our house might actually turn into the tapestry house!
