Should we be taking the “confirmed with link” tag off?

NHL Network went with it, he still hasn’t even been whispered considering anywhere else. Not messing with the good vibes until a more concrete Hamilton considering other offers Tweet or Kyper/NHLN retracting

We protected and paid an asset for Siegenthaler, I doubt we push him off the club

We're going to need more than 6, and he's not guaranteed a spot - I see where leaving a spot for Bahl/Siegs is desirable, but adding Murray would be a luxury in that we'd actually have 6 legit NHL everyday defensemen in the lineup to start the season.

On this stream, NHL Rumors Daily dude said it's at the 2 yard line, same as what Dreger said. Go back around 20 minutes or so.

He's been pretty accurate on his calls the past year.

I'd rather re-sign Kulikov.

I don't trust any of our current LHD on the 1st pairing with Hamilton. Smith needs to work on his D, Graves is considered a 2nd pairing, and Siegenthaller is a 3rd pairing . I'm more comfortable with Kuli on the top pairing if he can replicate last year's performance.

Hammering out a 60M$ contract doesn’t happen in a matter of minutes… I’m not at all worried.

We still have Butcher and Carrick

id prefer Bahl get top pair minutes over press box time; however I also dont care if Siegenthaler doesnt work out and we go with Bahl if he impresses.

Just dont think its very realistic to expect. Kevin is only just turned 21 after all

That last 'if' is the one that is going to get everyone on your ass, but Yes - I like Kulikov too.

They've been talking for days. There's not a ton of drafting in a standard player contract other than the financial/bonus/NMC terms that they agree to. It's not like they're drafting a 100 page merger agreement from scratch here.

It's kind of a solid bummer that we have three LHD on the roster and it is our deepest position in the minors, yet that last #6 LHD spot in the lineup is a huge question mark.

I guess that's a huge improvement over having 4 spots in the D lineup that are question marks.

I think the question mark, at least for the 3rd pairing, is just cause we have options now, instead of wondering who could possibly step up and grab the spot.

I’m honestly starting to think that the private jet info flying around Twitter was true and maybe they’re just waiting for it to land in Teterboro to make a formal announcement with him in attendance.

Glad that scum bag Gorton is out of the Rags because this would scream him trying to jump us for a player again for like the 5th time
