The point thing although true is muddy, Kadri was largely used in a penalty drawing, defensive, post esque role since Babcock came to town. This year however he's been put in a more offensive role and is spitting fire.Hamilton: 8.7 CF% RelTM close (leads Calgary)

Number 4 or 5 D? OK. He'd be 1a or 1b on the Leafs.
The funny thing is that Kadri and Hamilton have had identical production the last two years (84 and 85 points, respectively).
Also I hate the "He'd be X on the this team" argument because the player he is doesn't change depending on the team. If he's a #3 or #4 by NHL standards that doesn't mean we would pay a #1 price for him just because we're in need of dman.
