I’d much rather have a proven quality player than a lottery ticket player that won’t be here for 3+ years. We can’t piss away years with Jack on his ELC.

There's other ways to get quality players, we can't trade a first in this draft after trading picks for Gusev/Subban. As we've been saying, getting lucky on that 1st is the only way to get a high ceiling young talent.

Glad its over. Have no problem with the trade - But my thoughts are now what this means for the future of the team.

It is is a set back in getting to competitive in my view but how much is the question?

I think you guys got a great haul for a UFA and Hall likely doesn't sign there anyways.

You guys will see Bahl at the World Juniors but I see him tons.

He's a physical, tough stay at home guy with pretty good skating for a big guy. Can play some pp but more likely doesn't at the NHL level.

His game is reminiscent of Chychrun actually.

I hope we don't lose Goose. He was the best thing to happen this off-season. Will be a good player in this league.

Posted earlier, but Pronman has these guys rated 3rd (very good/legit bubble), 5th (legit NHL Prospect) and 7th (legit NHL Prospect) from his summer ranking for the Coyotes. Not bad considering the picks involved and they weren't going to get one of the top 2 guys.

Finally. For a rental this is a sound return and maybe better than that depending on Schnarr. A 6 foot 6 guy with weight on the left could be a great asset if he develops. Have to know more about him.

Happy that Hall is going to a good team. He will give them a much more dangerous offense and power play. Can’t thank Hall enough for 17 - 18.

If his skating allows him to play middle pairing unprotected minutes he'd be exactly what the doctor ordered for NJ down the line. It's like NJ has had a fever and can't fill the prescription for more cowbell.
