Arizona players happy on the road in a real locker room.
how can anyone like the line up with Hoffman on the list, unless he is on any other team except the Habs.
Maybe any team not in the NHL, Hoffman would clear waivers right now, I am certain that Hugo would have traded him by now if he did not have to add a sweetner for a team to take himHoffman would make the lineup of pretty much any team.
Xhekaj is grateful for Caufield having his backIf games get rough, I'm glad we have Caufield on the team to protect his teamates.
THIS I don't agree with. He is barely an NHL player at this point.Hoffman would make the lineup of pretty much any team.
True. While I do think HuGo will be able to acquire decent assets for certain players at TDL like Monahan, etc if they continue to play well, I think people may have to come to terms with the fact that Habs will most definitely have to "loss" multiple trades in order to shed cap. And by lose (for Winnipeg), I'm referring to similar trades as the one that brought Joel Armia to Montreal just as an exampleMaybe any team not in the NHL, Hoffman would clear waivers right now, I am certain that Hugo would have traded him by now if he did not have to add a sweetner for a team to take him
Notice I have him as an extra.how can anyone like the line up with Hoffman on the list, unless he is on any other team except the Habs.
The Habs beat the leafs first, than lost the next 2, hope that Arizona loses at least the next one, especially because they play the HABS.
FWIW, only a few days ago, Lavoie reported that Hoffman was untradeable, zero interest across the league. He is barely an NHL player at this point.
Decisions like this is why Bergevin is no longer an NHL GM. One of many head scratching decisionsFWIW, only a few days ago, Lavoie reported that Hoffman was untradeable, zero interest across the league.
He would clear waivers because of his contract, not because he's not good enough to make the top 12 of other nhl teams.Maybe any team not in the NHL, Hoffman would clear waivers right now, I am certain that Hugo would have traded him by now if he did not have to add a sweetner for a team to take him

Barometer game for sure. Forget the games against top team who don't take us seriously. This is the game where we will see what his team got. Must win or must lose game depending on where you stand
That is an area MB was very weak in. It never appeared that he had any idea what the market was for a player. Probably because he and the buddys he hired had no sources for information. It would be surprising if anyone was willing to offer more than a 1 year contract to Offman and likely at a lower annual amount than he got for multi years.I really doubt that, there wasn't much action on Hoffman even when he was UFA and Bargain bin decided to give him a dumb ass 3 year deal!!
Easily the worst 2nd line in the NHLI'd like to see the following lines:
Monahan - Suzuki - Caufield
Dadonov - Dvorak - Gallagher
Slafkovsky - Dach - Anderson
Drouin - Evans - Pitlick
I think we get more offense from this lineup.

In defense of MB if it is true that when he was hired candidates were told that they weren't allowed to tank then he started off with a handicap. And we don't know if he was allowed to add the number of employess HuGo has added. Of course he, like all the candidates, should have told Molson to eff off if they were going to be handicapped to start with.
Drouin had a fair last game and had an amazing pass on Caufield's goal.Aw nuts... more Drouin, Hoffman and Dandonov.
Bookmarked for laterYa I've been saying it for months...I just don't see us bottom 3 or even bottom 5 this year like everyone seems to be pencilling us into
