Pitlick doesn’t deserve to sit

I agree. I feel like if Slaf is on the 4th line with guys like Evans and Pitlick, he'll be in a good spot. Because even as 4th liners, Evans and Pitlick create offense.

But I feel like Hoffman in particular is in the line-up because Hughes is probably trying to trade him and they want to "showcase" him.

Well you can't sit Drouin after that pass. Dads actually had a somewhat decent game, I felt. Hoff I guess. He's been beyond useless.

Showcasing Hoff is really counterproductive. Hughes should find some youtube highlight videos and send them to other GMs to "sell" Hoffman's talents.

Huuuge game. There are already a number of teams behind Habs in standings. Is it time to bring Ducharme back before this gets completely out of hand?

No way they are showcasing Hoffman. Even if he could produce a little, his contract is still untradeable. And I can't see any contender wanting to deal with this kind of player and contract. We're stuck with him, sadly.

Game is tomorrow (Thursday).

The 2 worst NHL teams from last year are no longer. San Jose is 0-5. Vancouver is 0-3-1 & Minnesota is 0-3. Last 0-for teams in NHL.

Arizona's offense is not bad. They are 3rd in PP% and 20th in g/f. D is terrible though.

Montreal is the reverse. 8th on PK, 7th on faceoffs & 13th g/a. We're terrible offensively.

Arizona's offense is being led by Keller, Gostisbehere, and, uhmmm, yeah, Nick Ritchie.

Montreal has Suzuki & Caufield.

The duo vs the trio.

Discuss.

MSL has to get a second offensive line going.

Caufield - Suzuki - Slaf/Dadonov/Hoffman
Monahan - Dach - Gallagher
Drouin - Dvorak - Anderson
Pitlick - Evans - Slaf/Dadonov/Hoffman/Pezetta
