So are habs keeping this a big mystery that Laine is returning? I didn't see any formal lineup announcements or confirmation that he is in tonight. Why the f***ing mystery?

Morning skate haven't happened yet, it's usually after those or when the coach talks to the media before the game if there was no morning skate that those news are shared.

edit: Morning skate is at 10:30 am.

Reinbacher was definitely going to make the team.
He wasn't all that good in pre-season... was it because he Hughes picked him over highly coveted offensive dynamo in Mitchkov? Cause I didn't see any other reason why he would be. If I remember all the talk here, it was mostly disappointment at the time and he was destined for Laval.

Patrick "This is the team that Lou gave me" Roy returns to Montreal with the Islanders.

It's expected that Laine will play his 1st regular season game for Montreal.

I'm at least looking forward to that.
I'm going to the game tonight and after skipping the Kings and Rangers debacles earlier this season it's a sure sign the on ice product is getting better. :sarcasm:
Hopefully we get confirmation soon that Laine is in but I'm very confident it's HAPPENING!
The ovation he'll get will be a buzz in itself.

He had an excellent pre-season. Wtf are you talking about? The guy was great defensively, and was calm & smooth. There was no way he was going to Laval. Struble & Barron would have been 7th / 8th D. Instead, we have f***ing Barron actually playing when he should be sitting.

Agree with the last sentence.

Playing .500 hockey from here on in with a flat GF/GA would be a win in my books.

Since their 7-5 win against the Sabres on November 11th, Habs have played .500 hockey and are -2 in goal differential.

They're 4-4-1 in those 9 games. With I believe 29 goals for and 31 against.

Now they have 5 straight home games. And 6 of their next 7 are at the Bell Center. They play Isles tonight, then play Preds, Caps, Ducks, and Pens in those 5 games. Then go to Winnipeg to play Jets and then come back to play Sabres at home.

I think aside from the Caps and Jets, I think all those games are winnable.

Evans i love but has no hands :)
Why was Evans, Anderson, Gallagher line broken up? LIke f***ing why?! It was a good checking line that pitched in occasionally. Go back to what bottom lines were a couple of weeks ago. Sit Dach in the press box. Get Pezz in. Put Slaf back with Suzuki and CC. How f***ing complicated is it?
