Good little addition for the Rocket. They needed an RD, especially since they couldn't send Barron down due to him getting injured. Schnarr fell down the depth chart. And with what's coming up in terms of prospects, he no longer had a spot. He was a soldier for Laval.

Québec born players seem to have blossomed for the most part when playing for Laval. Trading for someone at a position of need is good. AHL playoff run will be a good experience for many players. I know people will be underwhelmed, but this is a smart low key move.
