The ice looked worse than the TD Garden surface which is hard to do .There was a lot of falling last night. By Bruins.

Yes cause it s not enough pathetic yetMontgomery still here?
Montgomery still here?
As somebody said earlier in the week, Sweeney and Neely are gonna try to hold out as long as possible before firing Monty, because they're probably on their last coach before the spotlight shines directly on themNot to rehash what happened to Monty when he coached Dallas, but suffice to say that when things got tough there he didn't handle it well. I think he has learned from that and his response this time is simply to check out and let it all flow over him. He really looks to me to have stopped caring and knows the writing is on the wall, and is just waiting for the axe to fall. Sweeney needs to do the decent and correct thing and put him out of his misery.
Jim's had good and bad as a coach, don't think he's the biggest contributor to the team's current malaise, but he's not the solution either. Let him go off, regather, and consider his future options. His time in Boston has run its course.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Ullmark signing to be Sways backup when his current contract ends, as long as the money isn't too much. Coincides with Korpis contract ending tooWith Sway and Ullmark both getting lit up on the same night, and not for the first time this season, it had me musing again on a feeling I've had since Linus left - long time to go in their careers, but I think it's highly likely that they'll both never be as happy again in a hockey team or play as well as they did in the 3 years they were together in Boston.
If money can truly buy happiness then obviously in the long-term they'll be fine, because they've both done very well for themselves and better financially than if they'd stayed together on the Bruins. And yet, I can't help but wonder.....at what cost? They had something special that allowed both to play at a very high level and with a great amount of satisfaction. But hard-nosed reality and ambition interceded and, probably near-inevitably, took it away. It's the way of things, but perhaps, sometimes, it shouldn't be.
I'm not sure what will happen to Ullmark in Ottawa, although I fear that away from Goalie Bob and what had been a fairly sound Bs defense his form will permanently regress. I'm confident Sway will pull through though and overcome his early struggles. Too much talent not to. But his road ahead may not be as cheery as he'd hoped when he signed that mega contract. So it goes.
You sure you're not just repeating what the Dallas broadcaster said? I watched the replay and it seems clear to me that McAvoy was interfered with. But I won't belabour the point.
He did have 05 on the road as well as 06 and 07.So Jack Edwards got all the glory years really. You gotta love that. I'm glad he doesn't have to witness this.

Definitely. In fairness and professional to Montgomery. He had plenty of success here as well but the sooner it ends the sooner the Bruins can have a chance to save the season. Not to rehash what happened to Monty when he coached Dallas, but suffice to say that when things got tough there he didn't handle it well. Sway: 3.35 GAA .888%
We are witnessing the full Jack Campbell of this young man
Come on .. This is the clear cut favourite for worst post of the year
Yeah thats why I think it makes sense. Tail end of his career where he may care more about where he plays and who he plays with. Sway gets to play with his buddy for the 2nd half of his contractUllmark is signed thru 2028. He's making the same as Swayman.
That's a long way off.
Physically, yes. Mentally? Doesn't appear to beMontgomery still here?
