You cannot say that about UFA players. They are going WHERE they want.

I didn't say, in the standard hfboards dialect: Bargainbin is such a loser for completely ignoring eric staal and destroying the franchise. I said its too bad we missed out on getting him.

What do you read into montoya starting? Is it just a case of price playing 10 of the first 11 games, or are they trying to let him reset a bit?

This decision allows price 5 days between starts for their next road trip, which by the way has b2b so we will probably see montoya again next week.

Both options you mentioned are not mutually exclusive

Has nothing to do with agreeing or disagreeing it's the people who call people they dislike mentally ill or the people who say they dislike francophones.

less than a week ago i said we should fire bergevin. Still should. But if the Habs are gonna win they're gonna win no amount of attention seeking online is going to change that fact!

I don't believe anyone said that they dislike francophones, seriously that would be horribly antithetical from a Habs fan. Not do I recall ever seeing a post that called another poster mentally ill. That would be terribly wrong and would certainly have been deleted by a mod instantly, and surely would have warranted a severe reprimand.

You are fully entitled to express your viewpoint here, as does everyone else. Wanting the Habs to be successful and believing they will be successful are two very different things and definitely mutually exclusive. Stating a view isn't attention getting. From either pole.

Really don't understand why the 10 mil goalie isn't starting. Anybody else suspicious of this? No back to back involved and the Habs are playing the 6th place team overall in the league. Isn't that when the high price goalie earns the keep?

What gives?
Price gives. Gives up too many goals.

I'll go against the grain and call for a win tonight.

But if they lose, they'll lose big.

There's always hope, I guess, but it's tough to envision a scenario where the habs can realistically get two points out of this one.

Having said that, the habs have yet to lose in regulation against their own division believe it or not lol.

A 5th certainty: JJD has an assistant coaching job no matter what.

And a 6th certainty, which should be placed as the 1st certainty before Death and Taxes: Construction!

The only thing that needs rebuilding or reconstructing or any kind of renovation is the one thing not going through it: the Habs.

It's ironic if you think about it.

Ottawa is one of the teams that Price never really seems to play all that well against anyway. We never do well against Ottawa in Ottawa, so I'm expecting a loss, 5-1 or 5-0 for Sens, maybe 5-2 if we get lucky. Our own goal will see the puck tip off Byron's stick, then off Benn's ass as he goes down to block a shot then pass by Montoya's right skate. You know it's coming.

Weird, but in a 11 games Sens have only 4 regulations wins. In 6 of their 11 games they have gone into extra time. If we don't lose big, I can see this game going into OT. Sens are living off that right now.

I think this is Mario Tremblay's first appearance on RDS since his comments. And with Damphousse as his partner tonight, Galchenyuk stands no chance.
