Hey Frank — you got your username back!!!

In a few days, I hope we can use that infamous line from the milk commercial image that was your avy for the longest time lol. Please stick around for what’s coming, wouldn’t be the same without you.

Vegas top-6 forwards with most points in the regular season (in 56 games):

Stone 61 points (21+40)
Pacioretty 51 points (24+27)
Marchessault 44 points (18+26)
Karlsson 39 points (14+25)
Stephenson 35 points (14+21)
Tuch 33 points (18+15)
------------------------------
Total 263 points (109+154) = 1,95 goals/game and 4,69 points/game

Series vs Montreal (in 6 games):

Stone 0 points (0+0)
Pacioretty 3 points (1+2)
Marchessault 1 point (0+1)
Karlsson 4 points (0+4)
Stephenson 1 point (0+1)
Tuch 2 points (0+2)
------------------------------
Total 11 points (1+10) = 0,17 goals/game and 1,83 points/game

Safe to say that we shut down their leading scorers quite well...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
For a referense, our kids managed this in the series:

Caufield 5 points (4+1)
Suzuki 5 points (1+4)
Kotkaniemi 3 points (1+2)
------------------------------
Totalt 13 points (6+5) = 1 goal/game and 2,16 points/game

Despite being half the number of players...! :)

Add to that the defensive prowess and shutdown ability of the team as a whole, that scoreless PK streak and the ability to prevail with small margins — a win is a win is a win.

Plus winning this series with an assistant coach at the helm and Ducharme on Zoom! Being the underdog has brought us this far, let’s keep being that. :)

normally when the Leafs exit the playoffs I stop watching the playoffs. I lose all interest. This was the first time in my 20+ years of watching hockey I actually followed a team every game and I felt the pain when goals went in and cheered when they scored. Lord Stanley BELONGS in Canada!
Glad you've watched more PO hockey this year than the last 17 years combined. :sarcasm:
