He didn't play well tonight. His passes were off pretty much all night & his shot sucks. Talented, but there's a definite step up he can take in his overall play.
They traded for him to let him develop, not be a superstar or a 60 points player overnight.

I think he’s doing a good job with Nick and Cole, they’re getting better looks at 5vs5 with him on their line, way better than with Anderson, Hoffman or even Monahan anyway. Calling him useless or a disappointment is dumb.

Am I the only one that noticed that Steel wasn't on the Ice when all hell break loose after that Rossi hit on Slaf?

That's an automatic suspension. Jumped from the bench and also the only one that dropped the gloves against.. Jake Evans out of all people lmao

Edit : NVM it's Shaw that drop the gloves with Evans. Steel isn't suppose to jump in like that either way.

Yeah using Monahan actually made them a far better group to go up against top lines but I think Dach will be a better fit for offensive production.

Yeah I noticed. That shouldn't happen and should definitely have resulted in a penalty.

f***ing Minnesota. Every time we play then there’s some kind of cheap shot or dirty play. I wanted that guy destroyed.

And on top of that their games are always otherwise so boring.

They play the good ol 1-0-4 or 1-3-1 that the Lightning were using during the Boucher's ERA that every team were saying that shouldn't be allowed.

Since then, at least 6-7 teams or more are using regularly.

Dach is good defensively and his transition play is better than Monahan. What Dach needs is players that knows what to do with the puck when he gets the puck in the offensive zone and starts circling it, that’s always been the thing with him, playing with offensive minded players will help him develop his offensive game, it’s a great fit with Cole and Nick to be honest.

He should have peeled Shaw off Evans before they started throwing.

At the least he should have been going with anyone in green. Massive failure!

He isn’t good enough to stay around if he isn’t doing that part of his job. Eddy comes back, send him to the AHL.

You can play 1-3-1 and still forecheck.

That infamous Guy Boucher moment was pathetic. And I say that as someone who likes him overall
