Chris Lee's an idiot. Also a bitch who looks like a cats crusty anus.

Solid loss for the tank. The team tries, which I like.

Xhekaj needs to stay. Forever.

Fleury is still a Habs killer.

Kaprizov is a hockey deity.

Contrary to a lot of the posts in the GDT, I like Dach with our star duo. I'll venture and say MSL does too.

Slaf keeps creating chances and getting better, but you can't let up in the NHL. Ever.

He uses it regularly, but clearly he let up there.

That was his welcome to the NHL moment. Lesson learned and he's likely never to do that again.
Great post and bolded for truth.

Our forwards made this game an easy win for the Wild. The Minnisota D just had to stand up and flex their muscles and we aborted. Losing those battles allowed them free reign to cheat up on our D for easy exits and odd man rushes. It's a bit disheartening watching two of our forwards losing puck battles to one of their D over and over again. It's useless to use a two man forecheck if you can't come up with the puck. Back to the drawing ahhhh drafting board.

Slaf can destroy a VO2 max machine but got wrecked by someone with the body of a teenage girl. Needs to use that size.
They don't make teenage girls like they used to..

Don't get why people are trashing him so hard. He's been pretty good. Him and Monahan are basically our only good forwards outside of CC/Suzuki
I think people are still butt hurt that they gave up Romanov/13th overall pick for him. First, Habs fans in general overrated Romanov and the islanders board is pretty lukewarm about him. Second, I think for the team Habs are and hope to be (window), Dach is more valuable than the players left at 13

I was expecting between 40-50 pts this year. If he can get 45+ or push it past 50 pts, I'll be very happy with his progression as a 21 year old

He didn't play well tonight. His passes were off pretty much all night & his shot sucks. Talented, but there's a definite step up he can take in his overall play.

Some forget he’s only 21, same age as Cole and it’s only basically his 3rd season in the NHL after suffering a pretty rough injury.

Back at .500, slowly but surely! :naughty:

They looked like seasoned tank commanders tonight, proud of them.

People are panicking way too fast. We are playing for 500 despite a good start with a couple of guys having unsustainable stats (Caufield was going for a 60 goals season before tonight and Montombeau has Vezina stats). In fact our record with Allen is what you could expect but Montombeau being 2-1 with a saves % of 931 skew the record a bit. You would expect Montombeau to be 1-2 at best which would give us a 4-6 record and a bottom 8 ranking.

Personally i like what the kids are showing but i'm far from convinced to is not a bottom 10 team yet. We don't have the experience to go thru the December and later schedule. Again I like what i see and the future will be bright but i don't think the future is now yet.
