Habs Lose to the Flames

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Habs played well. Looked nervous to close it out. Mix up on Coronato on the tying goal between Evans and Guhle. Can't give Coronato that much space to shoot on that play.

Positives:
Suzuki line, Evans line, Dvorak line all played well.
Slaf played better.
Good game from Xhekaj again - looking solid
Generally good defensive play.

Negatives:
Kapanen. I want him back in Europe.
Habs couldn't close out a game they should have won.

Pathetic looking team. I thaught Habs would not be worse than the last two seasons. I was totally wrong.

Losing so many games at home with heartless efforts is unexcusable.

Starting DVO in OT actually makes logical sense. 3 on 3 OT is all about possesion of the puck, so starting with the puck is far more beneficial. And if he loses the faceoff he's one of the better defensive forwards (theoretically) on the team.

If anyone thinks we lost that game in OT because DVO was on the ice after actually winning the faceoff, is quite frankly just looking for a reason to bitch about Marty.

It's a shame, was a fun game and thought the boys played well for the most part and deserved better.

Everyone love Suzuki, but he is freaking lazy type of player.

I know what impact he have, but lazy asfk man!

We love to pump his wheels cause fact is we havent had a center as good has him in YEARS. Fact also is, you don't win a cup with that type of player as your first line c... and let's not go compare him to Patrice B either
