In a Barred Spiral
My take aways:
We are Toffoli's new Canucks.
There is a chasm in talent between the Devils and us.
No genuine 1C in 25+ years and it continues.
Anderson brings little other than grit.
A pp goal came from not performing a back pass.....color me shocked.
You can't out grind a more talented team.

Primeau was fine. We are not the Devils. Barron needs to play more. Anderson needs to NOT be on the Suzuki line.

For Slaf....either you play him with Suzuki. Either you play him wth Lias Andersson.

Slafkovsky is net averse. He never skates to the net when he has an open lane, never shoots when he has all the time in the world. IDK how or where that gets cured.

So who is the whipping boy now that Barron has played 2 good games?

Seems like alot of attacks on Slafkovsky. Maybe we should expect more from the so called vets and allow the kids some breathing room
Suzuki and Anderson have been grilled by everyone here, so I don't see it as only Slaf who wasn't bad but failed to convert a scoring chance too many times.

The reason why Suzuki looks like shit is because his line spends too much time running after the puck.

We are really bad at recovering the puck and breaking out cleanly.

It wears down the entire team and our offensive quality massively drops.

When even Craig Button points out that our 1st OV isnt being put in a position to succeed...

Coaching has been quite brutal so far, its not a fun or enjoyable team to watch, MSL relying too much on his vets again and over again, Slaf and Ylonen should get much more opportunities...

OMG this place is too funny.
Gotta suck n get high picks.
They suck and pick wrong players with the high picks..
Play a better team, they suck cause the other team was better n won.
Win a game n it sucks cause we can't finish last and screw up the pick.

Everyone gets a chance with Suzuki and Caufield except Slaf.

Maybe the Habs had nothing left in the tank against a superior team? The vets didn't deliver.
Slaf needs to be sent down.
He was not the worst player tonight but the kid needs to score goals at this stage of his career imo.
He still only scored 4 goals in more than 1.5 year.
This I can agree with

It’s going to be a rough year. It was always going to be rough but Dach’s injury means we’ve got a shot at number one in the draft.

I just hope there are some good news stories along the way.
Its going to be hard to do worse than some of the worst western teams, but still possible, blueline awful and the lost of Dach for the year is indeed brutal for the team.

That line doesn’t work. They should try Monahan there or split it all together.
