He had a shot in the 2nd that had a lot of juice on it. I think it hit the goalie’s stick. Encouraging to see that kind of shot though.

He seemed really comfortable there.

Contrary to many here, I was impressed by the Oilers. Could be the year. Coaching change seem to have done the trick. It reminds me of when the Booins got rid of Julien and hired the now Vegas guy.

I don't think it's a bad play tbh. Get the puck in a dangerous area. Goalies struggle with wrap attempts these days and it creates chaos around the net, and there weren't many other options available.

But my favorite part about it is that a smooth skating dman has a full head of steam to get back in position after the attempt, which is exactly what happened.
