I understand the frustration with him, he's so polarizing, but he had his best game in weeks and have no problem with his overall play tonight.

I'm actually pretty satisfied with everyone's effort tonight, expecially in comparison to the last couple of stinkers.

Fun game.
Honestly he is more what the main board's perception of PK Subban was. A guy who only brings offense, does it brilliantly from time to time, and hurts you defensively constantly.

Great game by Montreal. Oilers being Oilers have to win with their PP.

Evans was terrific defensively tonight, but he's regressed offensively.

Armia was an absolute beast on the pk, as was RHP.

Guhle played his best game in a month. Be patient. Kid will be good.

Montembeault was excellent.

No complaints tonight. Team worked hard. Covered the middle of ice / slot well.
Yeah we need to move on from Evans. How he got $1.7m for multiple years is another Bergevin head scratcher. With the puck on his stick he’s a flop.

I wish every night was like this, win or lose. Just give us an honest effort.

Pretty much. Matheson played a great game. Unfortunately, he did this at the end.

I genuinely hate Matheson.
I've been on him all year. But really, he played an excellent game tonight. And the other usual goat here, Gally played a good game too. Those s0-called "hooking" penalties in light of all the stuff happening out there were weak. The high stick at the end was bad luck. Could happen to anyone. JMHO.

Gotta hand it to this MSL coached team. Missing the entire 2nd line. The 3rd line center and other starters and playing great hockey with heart. No complaints from me but for the refs.

McDavid is stuck in a really shitty situation.

It's been 9 years since he's been drafted, and the Oilers hopes for a cup are still pretty much praying to God that he doesn't get hurt and that he masks their vast deficiencies.

He and Drai put up Gretz/Lemieux type numbers in the playoffs last year too. It’s not like they don’t show up.

Team is uber soft. I hate the little soft passes in the dzone, clear the freaking zone!! They hold the puck for too long too often. There is no urgency when they skate, they dont apply pressure ever.
On one breakout Kovacevic had Armia on his left side with momentum but he held it for too long, sent it cross ice to no one which resulted in an icing.

Its ridiculous how slow skating wise and pace wise they look this year.
