Disagree. It is that bad. Colleagues tell me even Saskatoon is Better. I lived in Winnipeg for a year and it was by far the worst place I've ever lived at. Did they clean the downtown core yet? It was like kensignton av lite in 2010.

Anyways, I see shots missing the net a lot. And bad dump ins that very quickly turn over. The whole roster has been derailed since Heineman went down. Even Armia is back to his old self.

How is Pezzetta-Dvorak-Gallagher, Hutson-Carrier the 5 man unit out for the final shift of the 2nd period, like with under 40 seconds left? Are you shitting me? Gallagher is awful defensively. He can't skate. He can't win battles. He not a defensive player.

Having essentially the same group out when we finally pull Montembeault.

Dvorak, Gallagher, I couldn't believe my eyes. Team needed to shoot the puck at Helleybuck, get a stoppage, and get the f*** off the ice, so MSL could take a TO & get the #1 line out again. But, of course, those 2 immediately turn over the puck & Jets get an ENG.

I will repeat it....whenever you want to project a winning lineup 2 or 3 years down the road, you CANNOT have Guhle in your top 4. Put him in your bottom 2....hence if he is still hurt, you should find a way to make it up for. But a top 4 NEEDS to include other names than Guhle in it. The guy is injury prone. Not his fault. That's who he is. But you can't count on him.

That being said...that's then a problem. Who do we have top 4? Hutson.....Reinbacher....and? And that's before having seen Reinbacher...lol.

Hopefully the number one defenseman is on the list you posted. Carey Price was the most important player on our team the previous decade, but I think our fanbase doesn’t appreciate how valuable having Weber/Subban and Petry in our top 4 really was for us. The success of this rebuild rests on if the defense comes together IMO.

It's not over yet. I find we tend to be influenced at the high and low points too much. This rollercoaster ride of a season is not over yet. This team has shown resiliency over and over again. They will rebound again and probably have another set back again before this season is over.

10-15 range pick is on the way but the core players learned what it takes to get to the next level.

That's not it in this case. Marty is still missing a top 4D.
* Carrier should be with Xhekaj.
* Matheson should be back with Guhle (hope Guhle's injury is not serious)
* We are missing a stud for Hutson. Hopefully that is Reinbacher but we don't know if he can handle that at his age.

MSL and our coaches are very aware of the flaws but they got to work with what they have. Carrier helped but there is still a flaw

What happened is the Habs woke up in December and played to a higher level. Now, other teams have woken up in late Jan and are playing to a higher level as well. Tight East has sent a message to teams above and below.

Habs will rebound. This up/down rollercoaster ride is not over yet. Nothing has changed for me, a pick from 10-15 range is what we will get. Best we can hope for is the Habs slip close to 10 (maybe 8 or 9) and get a outside chance at winning one of the lottery spots and the Flames also slip to around 13

The thing with Struble vs Mailloux vs Engstrom is style of play and potential. We have Struble in his spot because we want the other two to play more min's. Struble is a depth guy. Bottom pairing or watching games. Not great for his development but he does not have top 4D upside at this stage (outside chance)
