Sometimes you DO need to make changes to shake things up.
Too many embarrassing loses lately.
San Jose
Ottawa
Boston.
You look at the coaches AND the players!
I understand Hughes wants to be patient, but losing like this is also hard on these young players.
It's time to make some moves.
Use picks and some of young Dmen.
Get Kuzemenko out of Vancouver as a start.

The team is a bag of asses and was playing for .511P% until last Wednesday. They got blown out tonight because it is going to happen here and there.
Except that a blowout in a hated rival’s building is not just another loss.

The pre-game banner ceremony was classless.

It was humiliating end to end, even if it is expected that a rebuilding team will have these kinds of outcomes by definition.

Habs get buried after getting stripped to their undies. Ouch.

At least Caufield scores, and Roy had a nice assist....

Anybody who thought we were going to hang with the likes of Boston this year was delusional. Especially with Dach and Newhook out this roster is ugly.

Give it a couple more years... the promise is there.
Actually they DID hang with them for two period and have beaten quality teams like NJ and Dallas.
After playing crappy against San Jose and Ottawa I was thinking the PRIDE would kick into high gear.
What pisses me off was ZERO PUSH OR FIGHT when it was 7-4....that was distugusting to me!

Still can't believe that banner raising....Sweet, sweet karma will bite that franchise in the ass.

It was just a weird self-own. They basically celebrated the fact they beat us in a playoff series 35+ years ago in a year where they didn't win a Stanley Cup.

In order to celebrate that fact, they had to admit to not being able to beat us in like 40+ playoff series.

I was dying I was laughing so hard. OMG, that "We broke the jinx" banner is meme worthy. :biglaugh:

All these years later, and we're still in that organization's nightmares. Neely's still pissed about it all. Classic Bruins, really.

It's all just noise from old history and not relevant anymore. All just show to make it part of the entertainment package of selling NHL tickets.

I kinda hope this was Jordan Harris's last game as a Hab. You can't be that inept at the physicality element of the game unless you bring some serious defense and/or offense and/or transition skills, and Harris brings absolutely neither of these at anything else but barely adequate.

Hughes will be looking for the next Dach or Newhook kind of trade. I could see a package of Harris and the calgarys first being offered

It can t be I was told Matheson was a top 2D, Savard a top 4D, Guhle Barron Harris Strubble the future of Habs D core :D

2nd pairing 1st round pick Dman coming next year, don't worry! I mean kent says he won't run a PP, but who needs a PP anyways?

It's fine. We'll get back at them when it matter. Probably crushing their playoffs hope as the underdog in the not so distant future. Because that's what we do to the Bs.

Montreal has given up 15 goals in their last 2 games. Two really bad losses after some good games.

Caufield's goal was nice. At least he's back. Slafkovsky was great on that play.

Beautiful pass by Roy to Armia on Army's goal.

Great play by RHP on Gallagher's goal.

Kids are alright. They're growing. The vets are complete shit. Gallagher is becoming a big problem. He's at best a 4th line forward, and he's quickly closing in on not being an NHL level player at all, but he keeps getting chances & minutes he shouldn't get.

They get a couple of days rest then play Ottawa again on Tuesday. Then St. Patrick rolls into town on Thursday. It'll be an interesting week.
Gallagher on the 2nd PP is just too much to ask the fans to handle, guy has no vision, no hands and no puck protection skills, he just is a plays killer. I could live with him on a fourth line for another year, but after that he better be bought out, he represents the no skills, grind mentality of the former regime.

Meanwhile, Roy is making plays and is awaiting for his chance...

Well, they raised a banner for it, so it's still relevant to some people, apparently. It had to be weird for the current edition of the Bruins players though.

And, people make fun of Nashville's banner raising. This was an unironic self-own by the Bruins organization. At least, I got a good laugh out of it.
