It is lous fault for not forfeiting the pick this year... matteau is *********

dudes a rookie playing on a team with injuries who is struggling to score. how much better do u want a rookie to do? he has prolly the same amount of points as poni. but no one complains about him.

Matteau is ass. That much is clear. He may very well be a good player in this league, but it's not going to be this year. And that's the god damn ****ing problem!!! This is who we depend on for depth. Players like Matteau.

Lou's got work to do. He has a hard working team that is really trying, but they need help.

Lost our overall best forward in the offseason, a significant piece of our forward core is out with injury, hall of fame goalie is out with injury, young center who has been producing is now out with injury, and our "number one" center is not producing up to par. It's not really all that surprising that this is a bubble team right now. Just accept it, have faith that Zajac and the players coming back from injury will get it together in time, and hope that there's a trade that can be made to upgrade.

You folks worry too much. I don't think for a second the Devs are not giving it their best out there. That's all I ask for as a fan.

stealing this for the facebook crowd.

Couldn't of said it better buddy.

Know what would be a perfect fit? Parise.

**** I wish he stayed. The more Zajac sucks the more I miss him.

He, zubrus, CBGB and Clarkson were the only ones on this team that got in front of the net.
With him gone, zubrus injured CBGB broken up and clarky thinking he's the next coming of Elias and dancing around, we have no one to clean up in front which is a linchpin in our offensive system.

It sucks when this team outplays other teams but loses because of stupid mistakes. The problem is that nobody can put the puck in the net, they need secondary scoring and it has to come from a trade.

We're riding Kovy way too hard and we're going to see the effects of that at some point in this season. I hope something gets done soon.

They didn't play well tonight. They got lucky. Also, as much as I ragged on Tallinder earlier in the season, he was getting better defensively as the season went along.

say what u want, but they are 1st in the east and we are a bubble team. lucky or not, they still find a way to win. we should be able to as well considering our roster has more skill and experience IMO.

That's fine but Poni atleast knows what the **** he's doing out there. Matteau can't even cycle properly

Definitely not playing as poorly as the rough stretch, however there were a few stretches of poor play tonight.

I'm encouraged by the better play but eventually you need consistent results.

to everyone calling for a trade. im still in favor of standing pat and just seeing where that puts them. not worth giving **** up for a bubble team. if you squeak in great, if not at least its a short season. then see what goes down in the summer.

Can everybody relax. 3 games in 4 nights - we're tired. Once Loki, Zubrus, and Brodeur come back, we'll get back on track. We were gaining serious chemistry before Loki got hurt. Step away from the ledge ladies and gents

Who gives a **** what seed we are going into the playoffs. All I care about is that they make it. This team is not going to be a top 5 seed at this point, and I can accept that considering the injuries and loss of Parise. Too many spoiled crybabies in this fanbase.

Toronto, Winnipeg, and us are tied with 32 points.

But we're in 7th? 8th? 6th?

WHICH IS IT?

WPG jumped CAR so CAR is 8th with 31pts, we're 7th with 32, TOR is 6th with 32 due to more reg. wins and WPG is 3rd

Every post of yours sounds so bitter. Did one of the Devils bang your sister that night after the lost in the Finals?

well the 1st part of his post was true. we are relying to heavily on our defense so that when we make a mistake it makes every goal against so traumatic. if our offense could score, we wouldnt care nearly as much. as for being a bubble team at best, i think we are better then that.

Problem is that by the time Marty gets back, we will be out of the playoff picture looking in unless the Rags keep losing....

And don't forget those dirty Flyers are still alive..barely.

Am I the only one that doesn't care about the result of other games?

I don't like depending on outcomes of other games. - Unless of course it was like the last game of the season and it was a win/loss in/out type thing.
