Not sure why people whine about Collberg.....how's Thomas doing SO FAR (note I wrote so far, scoring in the next 2 minutes, doesn't mean that he was invisible to that point...)

Definitely not whining WS, just making a humble observation. ;)

As for Thomas, I actually didn't know he was playing

I like Thomas. Think he's played decently - I'd like to see more of him for sure though. But he's been outplayed, IMO, by Leblanc and Bournival.

If he's being outplayed by Leblanc right now there might be a problem. :sarcasm:

He's also a year younger than LL. Bournival is too, but Bournival has been advanced for his age for years at this point.

Agreed completely.

What the hell, man? We're supposed to butt heads like we do on the Wrestling forum.

Leblanc's already cut.

Leblanc is still full of potential though. No need to write him off because another kid is doing great.

Why is it Leblanc ? Isn't the guy that can't even make a case for himself ?

I just mentioned Leblanc because he's a quebec player like Bournival. Maybe he just doesnt have any pressure compared to LL thats why he's playing well.

Does anyone really miss Leblanc?

Bournival has game this season.

Point was to have LL, Bournival, Thomas, until the end of camp. See how a player can keep growing on you? LL was having a good camp. Maybe he'd have looked even better as the camp progressed, but they didn't give him that chance, for this unknown reason.

I'm gonna say it. MaxPac is terrible on the PP. He always makes soft passes that lead to turnovers or slow the setup.

I was never high on Kristo though, so that might explain why I'm kind of "whatever" on Thomas.

LL has not been noticeable at all tonight.

Thomas has had a full year of AHL experience and did well scoring and has "some" NHL playing time while Collberg has to deal with injuries, lack of playing time, and playing in another country in a different ice surface....Something tells me that Thomas should be able to do much better.

LL could have potted two goals in one game just like Bournival did.

He didnt.

You can tell a lot by personalities.

Leblanc seems like a quiet, shy, unconfident kind of guy. He's a good player and can become a very good player - but he seems like he'd always second guess himself.

Bournival seems like a very confident guy. He's your typical great defensive player who works his ass off, keeps his feet moving, and plays a smart game. The best part about Bournival though is that he has more offensive upside than most players that fit that mold.

There something missing in his game but cant really point it out.

What's this about?

Don't know if it was just me, but in front of the net, contact with Staal, and somehow I saw him limping from that play....Though, we will see if he comes back in the 2nd. Might just have been minor and was maybe just hurting from the play. We'll see.

This. He should stick to only shooting. The guy simply can't pass. Him and Desharnais were easily the worst players in our pp last year.
