Not gonna lie.. I wasn't a fan of the Slaf pick and still had my doubts about him but young Juraj has really won me over with his improvement and play as this season as went on.

Even though the points haven't been there he's been doing some very good things on the ice. Really loving this new aggressiveness in his game and now using his size to his advantage out there. Great to see.

As I said in the GDT Slaf's progression reminds me of Dach from last season when around this time during last seasons schedule his game also really took off and he was dominating shifts before unfortunately getting hurt.

Keep er goin' Slafy b'y.

Just got a call from Nick Bobrov. He said "Stupid Habs fans, doubting my 1st overall pick" lol

Slaf played so well. I was also quite impressed with Struble. He's definitely cementing a spot in our top 6 D.
Meh it was always about his second pick. :sarcasm:

We were sure having fun at his expense over the summer. But we need to send every friggin' player we have to that breathing Guru.

It sucks how we can't have nice things. I can only imagine what this version of Slaf would look like with Dach. Two big bodies who are good in transition and both are able to use their big bodies and skills to protect the puck.
The thing that really sticks out right now is just how much time and space he's freed up for Nick Suzuki. That can only bode well for the future. Regardless if it's Suzuki or Dach.

I know this is a joke, but it's such Fake news.

ReHabs is a Habs fan and we all want every player and the team to succeed.

I'm sure he's as thrilled as any other Habs fan.
