Yeah because it goes hand in hand with making saves. Two very good games recently and one really bad one sandwiched in between.
Primeau got plenty of recognition in the past for not making saves.
There is nothing abnormal about it.
I don't quite agree with you. Except for his previous game, he has looked great all season. He just got thrown to the wolves constantly being sent in the tail end of back-to-backs or playing against top teams in the league. Even when giving 4 or 5 goals, he played really well. It was on his teammates.

Only the game before this one was bad. And even then, it was great for 2 periods and then he had a bad one (coupled with what was a very frustrating period that also saw Newhook being injured). He is heads and shoulders above Jake Allen who has been very ordinary all year long.

The thing is his weakness was exploited and that can't happen. Keep in mind Price went through a similar phase and they readjusted his stance having him hold his glove hand higher. Primeau has always looked good to me when he is "quiet" in his crease and not launching his body at pucks. It's great to see more consistency out of him and yes Allen is the one who needs to go.

I know this is a joke, but it's such Fake news.

ReHabs is a Habs fan and we all want every player and the team to succeed.

I'm sure he's as thrilled as any other Habs fan.
Some fans wanted to be right more than the kid to succeed, thats reality and Rehabs falls in that category.

Now lets focuss on the positive as most Habs fans are now pretty thrilled and right to be.

Their PP kinda sucks. I say they can totally use Alex BUrrows as their PP specialist coach.
Ours is actually much better with Slaf owning the right wall. I like Suzuki down low it gives him more options.
I've noticed the PKers don't attack Slaf with quite the same enthusiasm they attack Caufield or Drouin or Hoffman when they play the point.

Hah... our friend KK. How is he doing? I am sure not nearly as well as Dvorak.

We’ve waited generations for an org that can live with defensive miscues from their growing prospects. Possible concussion aside :sarcasm: it’s ****ing great that Barron played 21+ min
Indeed...

Don't get the posters who seem quite angry/frustrated by his tough night.

He just turned 22yrs old.

He's going to have bad stretches, period. Big picture, he's been playing very well this season and is trending in a positive direction.

He's been as good, if not better, than Savard... Not his fault the team has no established top pairing RD talent to take the toughest minutes.

Chill folks, we've got ourselves a good one!

The thing is, most Habs fans wouldn’t be happy with this picture of this player if they were offered it before the 2022 draft. My expectations haven’t changed — a forward needs to score.

That said, I’m obviously thrilled to see him adapt to the NHL-level game and play with enthusiasm and conviction. The change has been sudden and hopefully leads to the good things which haven’t yet happened.
