Yes agree. I also feel Marty should get a lot of credit for sticking with Dach. The players see that loyalty and respond to it. That's important for young players. It's not blind loyalty either hence why Barron was cut loose. I think Marty's interpersonal skills are superb and, coupled with a high hockey IQ, he's really growing into a good coach. I'm happy Molson took a gamble on him. And gamble it wasI'd be surprised if they do anything before they return home Laval play tomorrow.
The Lads know there is probably a roster spot for one of them so show us the fire...
Knowing that you have players who can step in and row with you is huge for a team.
Our Americans (Lane and Caufield) beat their Americans (Cooley and Keller). While Canada will never become the 51st state, the Americans are steadily taking over our game.
Newhook couldn't hit Jessica alba even if she was single and begging. Slaf was fine. Took a dumb penalty, as he won't do, but he's fine. He had one nice dangle that drew a pp too.Oh, how did Newhook and Slaf play? Visible? Invisible?
Oh, how did Newhook and Slaf play? Visible? Invisible?
Oh, how did Newhook and Slaf play? Visible? Invisible?
@Stive Morgan would be proud. Why am I up at this time ?
I decided to treat myself to KFC, so let's just leave it at that.
Cooley was much, much better than both. In a re-draft, Cooley is easily going first overall.Oh, how did Newhook and Slaf play? Visible? Invisible?
Slaf is slowly coming around.
Newhook couldn't score at a monkey whore house with a bag of bananas. He missed some chances as usual.
Just stop it.
His game was horrendous for quite some time and you know it.
Plus minus while not perfect is a worthwhile stat and you know that too.
They wouldn't keep tabs if it wasn't let's see him work it down like Lane Hutson is doing.
If he can do that we will be winning games.
Dach had a major injury mid-October 2023. He had his surgery 31st of October 2023. He had the entire rest of the 2023-2024 season and the 2024 off-season for his rehab and recovery.Yeah because he had a major injury. Its shameful how quickly people turn on good kids. And for people who turned on him and threw dirt on his career to still not want to acknowledge his steady improvement is even more silly.
I feel the same but I'm going to get a 91 next year I've never been this excited for a Habs forward prospect my only jersey until now are a couple of Price onesHaven't bought a Habs jersey in 15 years or so, I'll get my hands on a #48 soon enough. Kid is going to be a superstar for a long time, 90+ pts seasons in his prime.
He's ours, feels so good.
Yep and 8 of his minuses are empty net goals against. Take that away and he is a +4My favorite was when people were like "he's on pace for -42 for the season!". Pace on +/- is so dumb. He was "on pace for -42", but after tonight he's at -4, and chances are he'll finish the years in the + considering it's steadily been going up for a while.
Newhook should have finished from Laine's pass at that 2 on 1.Newhook was his usual... get a couple good chances but no finish.
I don't remember much from slaf other than a bad penalty and a power move to the net.
Yes indeed…..what are our smart people trying to do? Cause all our forwards to play too many minutes by having Pezz only play 3 minutes? I don’t see the wisdom in dressing a guy to only play 3 minutes…..maybe someone can enlighten me here. Surely there has to be someone in Laval that has earned the right to play up.Love how this team is never out of it now. Lane Hutson is a magician. Carrier continues to be awesome. No Suzuki point hurts my soul. Newhook continues to have the worst performance by a top 6 player.
Something is not right with management if they don't replace Pezz for the next game.
Invisible….Oh, how did Newhook and Slaf play? Visible? Invisible?
