It just seems odd that you go on a pointless rant in a post-game thread towards a player who scored our only goal and played a strong game.

Not sure how it's odd. The guy is on pace for 32pts with a cap hit of 5.5M. Who care about this game? Only people with short attention span

PP went to shit without Moneyhands, we're on a 0 goals in our last 17 attempts streak.

Hopefully CC is not out for long and it was only precautionary.

and it seems Armia and Evans will never score again

Armia is giving me 2011-12 Gomez vibes with his lack of scoring

3 things stood out to me tonight:

-Dach has a good shot and needs to use it more. He tends to defer and pass up on good looks like on the PP in OT
-Slaf should get more minutes and an opportunity on the top line. He is showing flashes of his potential and could use more offensive players on his line.
-Dadonov is giving me Samsonov vibes with flashes of skill that dont amount to any points and a lot of careless plays. He's like having Radulov but if you took away his drive, shot or finish.

Well... at least St Louis thinks it was one of their better games. Sigh...

I agree with MSL. Even with our full team, we will be hard pressed to win 35 games this year. The fact that we competed and won without Caufield, Monahan, Savard and Matheson in the lineup made it a good game. I don’t know what you are expecting. This is a throw away year.

What an embarrasing win.
powerplay completely useless
Burrows is stupid as ever
Martin St-Louis can't coach.
Slafkovski less icetime than Armia and all the other vets
Caufield is injured
That 4v3 was absolutely pathetic

We won because we had this dumb shootout rule to save our ass.

How does that work? All the Flames had to do was win, and they had access to the shootout same as we did.

Your posts have gotten worse than they ever were - sad and sour.

I am expecting to have a PP that can pot an occasional goal and doesn't have Dadonov and Armia as part of it. Nor Wideman when you have Guhle and Arber. My expectations is not wins. It's giving players that deserve ice time that ice time.

I just watched a bunch of highlights on YT and it seems like in every one hrudey was dumping on the Habs and taking the flames side with every take. Or is it just me?

Hrudey's usually pretty even in his comments. I don't really remember him being one sided in this one but I wasn't really paying attention.

That's what I was saying in the GDT it's obvious he hates the Habs and is still salty about losing to the Habs in 93.
I’m sure there’s definitely some sour feelings there for him given what happened in 93. He does work Sportsnet West tho doesn’t he? Pretty sure he’s paid to appease Flames fans.

Allen with great game. His save percentage getting up close to 900%. Just when I wanted them to lose!

But A high pick too much to hope for. Habs core too good now. Suzuki and Caufield now with addition of Dach and Guhle. Guhle will win Norris someday. Or at least get up high in the voting. Xhekaj is solid, solid defenseman. Harris is smart, no great one skill but will go onto long career. Slaf played good game I thought. Showing more signs with every passing month. Different player than in camp. Anderson that bull in China shop type player. Big and fast, led team in hits and can score 25. Be glad when Monahan gets back.

IQ, skating for Harris. Plays a simple game but kinda does everything good.
