with all our whining (mine included), 2nd in man games lost, again, while on the main board habs are shit and none of our players are worth anything - habs are 2 points out of the WC spot with a game in hand and playing .500 1/3 through the season - better than Buffalo and Ottawa ...pretty f***ing nuts if you ask me

What kind of player Is Sennecke? Tried to watch him the other day but wasnt playing for some reasons...

I've liked him for the last 2 years. I was watching Oshawa for Ritchie, but Sennecke always impressed me more. He's really skilled with his hands. He can handle the puck at speed & while evading players with his edges. Terrific vision with a sick release, but needs to shoot more. He competes really well, especially down low & along the boards. He needs more refinement in defensive zone.

Good height, but underweight.

We'll see how his year goes, but l've liked him for awhile.

I think this was his best game. He was a beast on the forecheck, causing s bunch of turnovers and won lots of puck battles. He's playing with confidence and poise. He's starting to get it.
yup. For me, this year, if he figures out how to use his strength along the boards, shoots with greater propensity and understands where to position himself in front of the opposing goal when he doesn't have the puck, it will be awesome progress for the 19 year old.

Exciting, looking foward to watch him next.

BTW, Ive been watching Tij Iginla last 3 games, very fast and skilled, but didnt really dominate shifts, still very fun player to watch, great shot too, the rise in the rankings is warranted IMO.

I can actually see us finishing .500, or very close to it. We probably finish in bottom 9-13 range.

Waite made a good point on l'Antichambre. Something I brought up earlier this season. Slaf hasn't yet played a full season on the smaller NA rinks. This was one of the main reasons many felt his first year should have been spent in Laval. The time and space just isn't there compared to large ice surfaces in Europe.

Marty also brought up the fact that he told Slaf you can't use your size if you aren't moving your feet and getting there in time. He was referring to him being F2 on the forecheck and getting there on time. Something we weren't getting from Gallagher.
